LEATHER: MADISON (CAT. P40)
MADISON is a leather for furniture produced on European raw materials selected for the quality of the grain. The leathers are worked with a traditional riviera process, with 48-hour liming and a high-exhaustion tanning of the chrome baths in order not only to improve the quality of the grain but also to have a minimum environmental impact. MADISON is an aniline dyed leather, where only inks are used in finishing to change the flame of the color where necessary. The leathers are vacuum dried, to give firmness to the leather, then with a firm and round hand. The leathers are then drummed at controlled temperature and humidity which result in a “wavy” surface and a light natural grain design, then ironed in the final to bring out the natural beauty of the leather. Wrinkles on the neck, closed scars and other natural marks are part of the look of the item, and there may be variations in color between skin and skin due to its naturalness. To clean the leather, we recommend the use of specific cleaning kits for aniline leathers. This article is sensitive to light and heat sources that can fade the color over time, for this reason we suggest not to expose the finished product to these factors.
